Dua to Say When Standing at Mounts of Safa and Marwah

Jaabir (RA) said when describing the Prophet’s (PBUH) pilgrimage:

(1)

When the prophet (PBUH) approached mount Safa he recited:

‘Indeed Safa and Marwah are from the places of worship of Allah…’

‘I begin with what Allah began with.’

(2)

So he started with Safa and climbed it until he could see the Ka’bah, he then faced it and said:

‘Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest.’

(3)

‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His Servant and single-handedly defeated the allies.’

The prophet (PBUH) would repeat this complete action at the mount of Marwah also.
